Job Description

Reporting to the head of Network Strategy, the Network & Business Projects Manager will be tasked with supporting multiple initiatives in support of the GTS EMEA product strategy. These will fall into 2 broad areas:
The individual will assume responsibility for managing a set of critical change projects within GTS. Although these projects will have cross-functional involvement, they require sound leadership and oversight from an individual within the Network Strategy product team.
The individual will also undertake a number of core responsibilities relating to our Network Strategy activities. These include the oversight and management of GTS Strategic Alliance partnerships, as well as involvement in other network-related projects in EMEA
This varied position represents an excellent opportunity for a banking professional to gain broader experience in regional transaction services and a treasury product management discipline, within a challenging and highly dynamic business environment, working on key initiatives that are core to the BAML strategy in EMEA. It is a varied position spanning both project and product management disciplines. The successful candidate will be one with a sound grounding in project, implementation or program management, but who aspires to a future career in product/business management.

Responsibilities
  • Own and successfully deliver key GTS business transformation projects
  • Develop and manage business reporting tools, dashboards, scorecards to measure the performance of alliance partners, and report on business activities generated
  • Work with key partners to ensure successful delivery and ongoing management of Strategic Alliance partners
  • Manage overall project planning, identification and scheduling of key activities, ownership of ensuring tasks are delivered to the required business timelines
  • Lead ongoing engagement routines with Strategic Alliance partners
  • Deliver new Strategic Alliance partnerships in line with business strategy, geographical priorities and client expectations
  • Liaise with other lines of business to ensure close co-ordination between GTS and the wider organisation, in relation to enterprise-wide projects
  • Own elements of the GTS network expansion strategy from a business perspective, specifically Strategic Alliance partnerships, co-ordinating with Product Management, Sales & Corporate Banking to track and monitor activity
  • Alignment between Network Strategy, Product Management and other critical functional areas within and outside GTS, to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
  • Drive management reporting on key projects to ensure full visibility of progress, deliverables, risks and issues
Requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Proven project/program management skills in either a business transformation or client implementation context
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Strong financial skills
  • Ability to build broad based relationships both internally and externally
  • Well developed presentational skills to both internal and external clients
  • Strong consultative and organizational skills
  • A self-starter who can also work with other interdependent groups
  • Able to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationships across GTS & broader BAML organisation
  • Appetite to work in a challenging, dynamic front office business environment
  • Understanding of international cash management products and services
  • High level of energy and desire to make an impact
  • Strong desktop application skills – specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Creative and an ability to challenge status quo and conventional wisdom
