As part of the Graduate Programme we have an opportunity for you to join us as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor in our Capital Investment Delivery Team.

The Capital Investment Delivery Team plays an integral role in our business by delivering safe, efficient capital investment for Scottish Water's customers. The team are responsible for the delivery of £960m of investment in the regulatory period 2010-2015, offering excellent development opportunities for you as a graduate to work on such projects.

Working as a member of the Capital Investment Delivery team, you will be responsible for the day to day commercial management of a portfolio of projects which form part of the Capital Investment Programme. The role will require close liaison with the Project Delivery, Estimating, Engineering, Operations & Communications teams. You will gain valuable experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying in a large organisation.
The successful candidate will share our passion for customer focused delivery and have strong administration and communication skills. You must have experience of Microsoft word and excel and have confidence in using numerical applications.
As a Graduate you will also be eligible for all benefits that our employees enjoy such as 37 days holiday per year (with the opportunity to buy up to an extra 5 days), a final salary pension scheme and paid time off for volunteering activities. You will have a 2:1 degree in Quantity Surveying and may already have some work experience in the field particularly with knowledge of NEC 3 form of contract, however work experience is not essential.
